FUNDRAISING with sherwood's pto
At the heart of Sherwood's PTO our mission is to foster an inclusive Sherwood Elementary Community while providing enhanced experiences to all Students, Families and Staff using funds raised in support of PTO initiatives.
How it's done...
Families, staff, and local businesses work together to accomplish our goals by:
- Donating monies either via sponsorship, personal donations, and/or goods/services/experiences to be monetized as donations
- Making purchases while attending family-friendly fundraising events
- Dining at local restaurants through our Dine & Donate events
- Purchasing Sherwood Elementary School Spirit Wear
- Participating in our Lunch Solutions hot lunch fundraiser program with local restaurants
- Purchasing a keepsake Yearbook
- Purchasing and displaying Birthday Yard Signs
- Shopping for books at our in-person and online Book Fair
- Purchasing Penguin Patch Gift Cards during our Holidays
- Contributing to Sherwood's Angel Fund to ensure all eligible families have the equal opportunity to engage in the Sherwood community events.
In addition to providing fun experiences, the PTO also hosts Community Service Projects and manages a Staff Appreciation Fund to routinely acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of our dedicated, caring and engaged staff members.
