Sherwood PTO Angel Fund

The mission of the Sherwood PTO is to enhance students' educational experiences by building an inclusive community, offering equal participation access to all students/families regardless of financial capability, and partnering with school staff to align with Sherwood's values.

To achieve this, the PTO organizes Sherwood community events, financially contributes, and volunteers time to support school initiative programs, and supplements school-related purchases using our ongoing fundraising efforts.

By donating to Sherwood's Angel Fund, you are helping support families in need within our school community. This allows eligible students to participate in Lunch Solutions Hot Lunch, provide them with supplemental meals/snacks as needed, attend PTO hosted events, order Sherwood Spirit Wear, and take part in other fun initiatives the PTO has to offer.

Our Sherwood families have asked, "How much should we donate?". This school year (2025-2026), the PTO is estimating we will gift $40,000 in the form of food, goods and experiences to eligible Sherwood Angel Fund families. 

 

Therefore, we appreciate any and all donation sizes. Below is a breakdown of how your donation can help our students (pricing reflected is for 1 eligible student):

 

• $10 donation = 1 Lunch Solutions hot lunch.
• $15 donation = ability to purchase 2 gifts during Penguin Patch Holiday shopping event. 
• $20 donation = receive supplemental snack foods during the school week
• $25 donation = purchase 1 book and a fidget during the Book Fair.
• $30 donation = attend Carnival and participate in all offerings at the event.
• $35 donation = provides a family full access to the PTO Membership Website & Directory 
• $40 donation = purchase 2 Spirit Wear items
• $100 donation = PTO can purchase a month's supply of supplemental breakfast items 
• $300 donation = PTO can purchase Lunch Solutions hot lunch for ALL eligible students on any 1 day
• $750 donation = PTO will gift birthday signs for all eligible students for the year
• $1,000 donation = PTO can support 1 student for all events and initiatives for the full year!
